[xquery-talk] Ordering procedure of the 'order by' clause

Hi

Is there any specification that tells, in which order the elements should be
returned if you use a 'order by' clause, especially while returning the text
values.

My doubt is, in what order or respect the CAPITAL  letters, spaces between
text values(like names) and alpha numericals are treated.
Is the order by clause case sensitive, or can we implement it in which ever
way we like(case sensitive or case insensitive).

Is there anything written in the W3C specs regarding this.
