John Snelson and I recently created xquerydoc

will parse xqdoc comments from your XQuery using XQuery ;)

there is a commandline version (which uses XML Calabash because its
fun) but you can directly invoke from your own xquery with nothng
else.

its early days so please pitch in to make this a nice standalone
documentation tool for XQuery ... specifically need help with windows
platform
